Dress Policy
We have a code of dress which is very popular. Sweatshirt tops and cardigans in grey or navy, polo shirts in white, or navy with logo. Code of dress items are available from the school office through the year. Clothes and shoes must be suitable and safe for practical activities in and out of school. We advise that children don’t wear jewellery, including earrings, as they are a safety hazard. Earring ‘studs’ are permitted at your own risk, but must be removed for P.E.
Please mark clothes clearly with your child’s name, using either name tapes or a special marker pen, especially items which are regularly removed such as coats, jumpers and
PE Kit
Our PE kit is black shorts and a white tee shirt. It is kept in term time, in a drawstring bag, (name on the outside please) in either the children’s classroom or cloakroom.
It is Sheffield Education Authorities recommendation that the children do not wear shoes for indoor P.E., but they will need a pair of plimsolls for outdoor work. Key Stage 2 children are advised to bring an old warm tracksuit to wear for outdoor games in cold weather.
All items of jewellery must be removed before the children take part in PE.
