re: Y6 trip to Thornbridge (Derbyshire Great Longstone)
As you are aware a letter recently went out regarding this year’s Y6 residential trip to Thornbridge. After the letter was sent out I received a number of questions/queries from parents and children about the residential trip.
The questions included the type of activities the children would be undertaking, clothes they should pack and times for setting off and returning to school. This is important information that many of you will want to know before making the decision to send your child on the residential trip.
With this in mind, I would like to invite parents to a meeting on Wednesday 7th May 2008 at 6.00pm. The meeting will take place in Miss Grantham’s classroom.
During the meeting I will be able to give you more detailed information about the trip. I will hopefully, be able to answer any questions (if not, I can find out!) and give you a greater understanding of Thornbridge (if you haven’t come across it before) and what it can offer your child.
