Dear Parents / Carers,

Welcome to a new school year and a very big welcome to all new reception parents and children.  It’s also lovely to see Mrs England back.  The PTA is a voluntary organisation run by parents of children attending Malin Bridge School.  We aim to raise funds to buy ‘extras’ for our children as well as organise some fun events.  Last year (our first year) you helped the PTA to raise £1700 which is a fantastic amount.  Some of this has been allocated to buy new digital cameras for the school.

We would love to see more faces involved with the PTA.  You could be involved in organising events and schemes, put forward ideas and suggestions, or make teas and sell buns when you are available.  Any involvement, big or small, is very welcome.  PTA meetings are normally held on a monthly basis after school on Mondays in the classroom opposite the office in the Infant building. If you would like to be involved but cannot make the meeting or if you work for an organisation that offers matched funding e.g. HSBC, Barclays, please contact me on 2339347.  Matched funding could significantly increase any funds raised.
